The Washington Football Team hosts the New York Giants on Thursday Night Football!
Division rivals collide as both New York and Washington head into tonight’s matchup looking for their first victory of the 2021 season. Last week, Teddy Bridgewater and the Denver Broncos defeated the Giants 27-13. Bridgewater went 28-36 with two touchdowns, while Melvin Gordon shredded the New York defense, accumulating 101 rushing yards on only 11 carries. The Washington Football Team not only failed to win their first game of the season, but they also lost their starting quarterback. Ryan Fitzpatrick was injured during Washington’s Week 1 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, so Taylor Heinicke gets the start tonight against the Giants.
